There’s, of course, the usual way to use your highlighter, which we love and adore but have you checked out these 4 unexpected ways to make use of your highlighter.
- Change up your bone structure
Why wait on that sunny glow (at this rate we might never have sun again) when you can buy yourself some highlighter and get your life.
Play up your bone structure (yes make-up is actual sorcery) with some highlight, while popping up that collarbone spread some glow on to your shoulders as well for a Greek goddess sun glow that will literally blind everyone trying to steal your glory.
- Sparkle those eyes
Adding a little highlight to the corner of your eyes could literally bring your whole look to life. Whether it is a full face or a no makeup, makeup look this could definitely be the missing piece.
P.S: You could highlight your brow bone while you are at it and also use the same palette for a beautiful wet dewy shadow look.
- Shimmy shimmy lippie
Who said you have to buy that metallic lipstick and/or gloss (well you could, we don’t want to tell you what to do) but…buuuttt, we like to help, so here goes. Dab that highlighter onto your favourite shade and watch that magic happen. Metallic goodness on a budget.
- Glycerin isn’t just for babies
Well, this is actually one of my favourites. Put some highlighter into some glycerin and you could literally be a strobe light wherever you go (this is not a bad thing, don’t go overboard and scare children though). This is the perfect look for the coast, it’s not messy and you will look stunning.
Just like Sauti Sol we like to keep it short and sweet, hope we did you some good, now go forth and be great!
